Features

  • The ST500AR Sycloid® toaster is a 13amp machine producing over 500 slices per hour. Now available in red, black or natural colours
  • It delivers excellent toasting results for bread up to 30mm thickness. As most bread used in buffets is expected to be less than 20mm thickness, the Sycloid® is optimised to deliver its best result for bread of this thickness, but can accommodate slices up to 30mm
  • Patron and staff safety is paramount and the Sycloid® toaster has been designed with “cool to touch” safe external touch temperatures and a lid locking latch
  • Intelligent energy efficient design – with the simple flick of a switch, the Sycloid Toaster can now be run in one of two ways:
    1) Continuous Operation - where the machine runs continuously at the selected settings;
    2) Eco Save Mode - where the machine conserves energy during quiet periods by scaling back energy consumption and switching off the conveyor. The intelligent auto-sense feature detects when a new slice of bread is placed in the machine and automatically prepares the machine to toast the bread. The heat setting in this mode is balanced and optimised to ensure quick recovery.
  • A user-friendly and reliable speed controller allows adjustment of the toasting time to account for different types of bread or buns to be toasted. The knob setting lock feature allows staff to set the toasting speed, removing the risk of patrons altering the setting
  • Diners can easily see when their toast is ready from across the buffet with the stylishly sculpted toast return chute with LED lighting that provides easy and illuminated viewing of the toast holding bay. The wide opening of the bay allows easy access to toast, which the radiant heat from the elements helps to keep warm
  • Featuring robust stainless steel elements, the Sycloid® toaster also features a modern brushed stainless steel exterior, perfect for disguising finger prints on a machine expected to be heavily used. It also includes a slide-out crumb tray for every-day cleaning and a hinged top cover allowing easy access to clean the inside
  • The Sycloid® toaster produces a beautiful toasting result throughout the entire slice of bread

Toasting Tips5 TIPS FOR EVENLY COLOURED TOAST!
  • Use one to two day old bread. The reason for this is simple; the high moisture content in fresh bread acts to counter the toasting effect. The moisture in each slice is driven down through the body of the bread (ie the top dries out faster) resulting in the top of the bread toasting before the bottom.
  • Don’t store bread in the fridge. Refrigerated bread will not only start the bread cold and extend the toasting time further; it will also serve to retain within the bread the very moisture we are trying to get rid of.
  • Bread with a high sugar content such as raisin bread, will toast faster and therefore the toasting time should be reduced. Bread such as Wholemeal, Sourdough & Gluten Free will take longer to toast.
  • If using an open mouth toaster, the bread at the back of the toasting cavity will toast faster than bread closer to the opening. This is because the heat is naturally lost through the open mouth. You can use this to your advantage when toasting different types of bread products.
  • Use quality toasting equipment!
